September 26-30       "

     This week we will  begin unit 2 reading book "Communities"

Our first story will be "A big fish for Max".  Spelling words are:  ship, fish, then, shut, with, rush, shell, shop, trash, thin.  In math we have started chapter 2 on subtraction. 

  This week we did the dance  "Little Johnny Brown", and learned about African American people and their culture during slavery.  

 Reminder:   We have reading vocabulary words on Monday

             and reading story on Tuesday....please sign when

             your child reads to you!
