Welcome to Second Grade!! Here are a few pictures of our super students working very hard!!! 

Next week (Sept. 19-23) will be a review week in Reading. We will be reviewing skills from Unit 1 and taking a unit reading test. Also, the Spelling Test will be a review. It will review all words we have had so far. There will be 20 list words on the test and 5 bonus words. Since these are words we have already had, hopefully the students will remember them and do well. A list will be sent home Monday.  

In Math, we are continuing to work on Chapter 2, numbers to 1,000. So far the students seem to be grasping the math concepts very well.

Social Studies lessons will continue to focus on maps, globes, and how to use both of these tools in the real world.
