Math:
We have just finished our first unit in : "GO Math"! We learned a lot about different ways to add and subtract. All of these strategies will will help us to become better at mental math! We have just started chapter 2 and will be working with data and graphing. We are also working hard with each child individually on their multiplication facts. Take-Home-Folders should come home everyday (or almost every day!) Start checking the Multiplication calendar daily. It is located in front of the Take-Home-Folder for you to see where you child is on their multiplication journey and where they need more help. Keep reviewing each set even after it is learned so we will not forget! Thanks fo your work and support as we continue to multiply!!

Writing:
In writing we are working with writing good and complete sentences! We are also ready to start a writing piece in social studies. We interviewed someone about what school was like when they went to school and will soon be turning it into a writing piece.
Social Studies: In Social Studies... we are studying about our community! We are learning location, history and culture of our community!!
