WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL

I am so excited about the 2011-2012 school year.  It is such an honor to have the opportunity to work with your child. 

In Social Studies,  we are beginning a new chapter,  This chapter focuses on where Kentucky is at in relation to other places on earth.  We will focus on map skills as well as learn about our state regions.

In Science, fourth graders will be learning about the three types of rocks: igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic.  We will also be learning about fossils!

In Math , we will start the year reviewing our multiplication facts.  Each Friday, we will have a quiz to help make sure we remember and can recall those facts quickly.  Make sure you review mutiplication facts nightly! We have started a new chapter in Math. Chapter 2 focuses multipling with one digit numbers.
